The Story Behind Book Basket Meet Our Founder
A graduate Civil Engineer from M. S. University Jay Narayan Vyas is Engineer by training. He is Fellow of Institution of Engineers and holds Master's Degree in Civil Engineering from IIT, Mumbai.
With Post Graduate qualifications in Management, he also holds a Doctorate (Ph.D.) in the same Discipline and a Degree in Law.
Shri Vyas recognized as eminent thinker on Public Administration, Economics and Finance has also been a public life functionary for last over 25 years (1990-2016).
He is conferred a distinguished alumnus for his outstanding contribution to the M.S. University, Academia and Society – A distinction conferred upon about 30 alumni out of those pass outs of the university since 1949.

Noteworthy contribution to Gujarat's Industrial Development (1975–90) as a policy planner and administrator.
Sardar Sarovar Project
Guided India's largest multipurpose irrigation project as its Chairman, and later as Minister during the most critical stages.
ICOLD Gold Medal, 2003
International Commission on Large Dams recognized his contribution with the Gold Medal for the year 2003.
